Garden to Table
It was a wet session this week so a big thank you to Mrs Crews, Mrs Masters and Bob for all the effort they put in every time we come.
This week we made Calzones, pizza and salad fresh from our gardens.

One can two can who can YOU CAN!
The student council got the school involved in Auckland City Missions One Can Two Can appeal. We have had a wonderful response from Room 23. In total our class donated 84 cans to this great cause. The cans will help to feed families and people who are need of food.
Thank you to our Student Council for getting involved and giving back to the community.
Thanks to all the students and families of Room 23 for donating the cans.

Constable Gordon
Today was our first session with Constable Gordon from NZ Police who is here today to talk about how to be safe.
Over the next few weeks we will be doing the Keeping Ourselves Safe programme.
Constable Gordon gave us some scenarios. We discussed some of them and shared which ones were safe and unsafe situations.

Now and then it's always good to remind ourselves of our class treaty. Our class treaty was made through having a class discussion and then breaking it down to the rules we thought would be best for our class.
